Director of Consulting strengthens relationships with Texas customers and associations

Salisbury, MD, April 15, 2016—APPI Energy announced that Jeff Sherman, CEP, Director of Consulting, relocated to Dallas, Texas, where he is operating the energy consulting firm’s eighth location in the U.S. Currently, APPI Energy provides electricity and natural gas procurement solutions to hundreds of customers in Texas. The Texas Health Care Association, Texas Assisted Living Association, Texas Automobile Association, and several other Texas-based affinity groups have endorsed APPI Energy as the exclusive consulting firm to serve members.

“Opening a Dallas-based location strengthens our relationships with Texas customers, Texas-based association members, and members of more than 100 national affinity groups with Texas facilities,” said Walter Moore, President and CEO of APPI Energy. “The new location better positions our firm to serve commercial and industrial clients in Texas.” Sherman joined APPI Energy in 2003. He works directly with member businesses specializing in manufacturing and healthcare. Sherman received his Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP) designation in 2011.

In addition to Dallas, APPI Energy operates regional offices in California, Florida, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, and Virginia. With headquarters in Salisbury, Maryland, APPI Energy currently manages 8.7 billion kilowatt hours of electricity and 12.4 million dekatherms of natural gas for 2,310 clients in every deregulated energy market in the U.S.
